There's no hard and fast rule to teaching, everybody is different.
Some have been involved in boating all their lives but still don't know how to navigate correctly.

Some have been to night school and have perhaps completed their Yachtmaster theory, but have little experience in boathandling. Some are complete novices.

My job is to guide the individual smoothly and competently to a reasonable standard.

Man overboard! Would you really know what to do?
I can run courses tailored to your individual needs, but as a guide, for complete novices, four or five days should get you up and running. After your basic training it's then up to you to continue to your desired standard.

Navigation
I can teach you deviation, variation, DR, EP, GPS, collision regs, bouyage, lights, tides, etc; either in the comfort of your own home or aboard your vessel.

Boathandling
I have many years experience in close quarter boathandling and power & sail. Let me teach you how to put your vessel where you want her to go.
