Since 2000 I have done 156 deliveries covering more than 50,000 nautical miles. This is just a selection of some of the boats I have delivered.
Busiest year yet
This year the boats seem to be getting bigger and more expensive, the biggest being an Azimut 85 from Portsmouth to Gibraltar: four and a half million pounds.
The commercial side seems to be busier as well on the tugs, dredgers and pilot vessels. I had the pleasure of towing the firework barge into place just off of Mayflower Park in Southampton for Cunard’s Queen Victoria as she departed on her maiden voyage. I did the London Boat Show for the Rodman Cruiser/Fisher range and have been booked again for the Southampton Boat Show. Come and have a chat, you’ll find me on the Rodman stand.
I am also booked all of Cowes week to drive a Princess 68 for H2O charters and then straight after to deliver a Squadron 68 from Jersey to Palma for Port Fairline Channel Islands.
It has also been a busy year doing demos, sea trials and handovers for various companies and I've been asked to form a Rodman owners club and organise rallies, fishing competitions and treasure hunts for the owners of their fisher/cruiser range.
